Drawing-based refractory production

Custom fused silica precast components.

Customer-specific refractory shapes for aluminium casting and metal-transfer applications, developed from drawings, samples and operating requirements. Our scope includes one-off replacement geometries and repeatable component families.

Built from the drawing outward.

The component geometry, mould route, material system and finishing requirements are developed as one production package. This supports special shapes without presenting the application as a limited catalogue range.

Components we can develop

The manufacturing route can be adapted to metal transfer, distribution, flow control and customer-specific high-temperature interfaces.

  • Special flow blocks and transition pieces
  • Refractory tubes, sleeves and hollow shapes
  • Cross feeders, thimbles and spouts
  • Replacement parts based on existing samples

Material selection inputs

Fused silica is not specified automatically. The material route is selected after the component duty is understood.

  • Operating temperature and thermal cycling
  • Molten metal or chemical contact
  • Mechanical and handling requirements
  • Geometry, wall section and installation method

From reference geometry to controlled repetition.

In-house mould preparation allows dimensional decisions to remain connected to the production process. Critical surfaces and interfaces are reviewed before the part is released for repeat manufacture.

01
Input review

Drawing, sample, dimensions and process role are checked for a complete production basis.

02
Mould development

Release, core geometry, wall sections and critical dimensions are incorporated into the mould route.

03
Controlled finishing

Flow surfaces, contact areas and installation interfaces are finished for their intended role.

04
Repeat supply

Approved geometry can be reproduced for scheduled replacements or coordinated component sets.

A special refractory shape starts with the application.
